Nick, I think of you so often. We didn't see each other often, but our whole family just loved you. I can't believe how long you have been gone already from this earth - I like to think that you are still around. Your wonderful energy was always so positive - you once stopped my kids in their tracks when you calmly said, "Instead of complaining, try being grateful for what you have." Nick, my youngest son, I don't want anyone to imagine that I could ever forget you. You gave me the greatest human joy I've ever experienced. Knowing that you gave your life to God and loved Jesus so much in your short life here on earth gives me the utmost peace and comfort beyond imagining. I thank God and I thank you for that.

God willing, Nick, I will love you throughout all eternity, my sweet beautiful loving son. Say hello to your dad for me.

I love you Nick. I've been crying about you for like an hour now...I'm supposed to be doing my homework. I miss you, thanks for going on so many trips with me and for making me laugh. Thanks for putting up with all the mean things that I said to you and thanks most of all for forgiving me, because that's who you were. You were a great man Nick.
