Nick Simich

I am sorry to hear of Nick's passing. He and my father Toby Shopper worked for many years at Fred Arbogast in Akron. I knew Nick and his father Vic and most of Nick's brothers and son. Nick probably forgot more about fishing than most of the current so called TV experts know. It was said that Nick could "talk" to a bass. I believe that has merit. He will be missed.

Very sad day to the "old timers" in the tackle business. I was a young boy when I first met Nick who was working for Pflueger back in the 60's. We used to use his camper out at Hill-N-Dale each year. I still have many of the publicity photo's taken of Nick while working at Pflueger and would be happy to show these to family members down the road.
