Read MoreI never met Nina in person, but knew her through her caretaker Elizabeth Mast. Sometimes I would talk to Nina on the phone, or have Elizabeth relay the conversation between us. Liz sent me photos of Nina´s cat and Liz showed photos of my cats to Nina. I could tell Nina had a humorous sense of humor. She sometimes made me laugh. Liz and Nina were fortunate to have each other. And I was lucky to know Nina, if only by phone.
