I met him in 1982 at Jefferson Elementary when I was in Kindergarten. His name was on the chalkboard at the top above Mrs. Fishbaugh's name and I wanted to meet him. One day, he was walking through the hallway and walked right past our line as we were leaving the gym/cafeteria or the library. I looked up at him and thought he was a giant; he had such a kind authority about him.
