Read MoreDr. Amer operated on my mother for lung cancer in the early 1990's. All other doctors (including Mt. Sinai Hospital in NYC) said the operation couldn't be preformed, yet as our final hope I took my mother to see Dr. Amer. He performed the surgery, and because of doing so, he extended my mother's life for 4 more years. I'm sorry to the Amer family, for your loss.
