The first time I met Pastor Gene was the Sunday he came to preach at our church in Hermiston. Something that was unrelated to the pastor had upset me so I decided to leave, he was unaware of what was going on he just noticed Rep and I left so he called our home and wanted to meet with us so we drove into town and had lunch with Pastor and Miss Terry after having a long conversation I knew then that we would be friends.
