Not sure what to say?

Mr. H., your legacy lives on in the students you taught over the years. Rein's Deli is not the same without you, either. Deb Wilson, '66 WHS

To my dear friend, Norman...your passing has left a lot of memories. Our lunches were such good times. I'll miss your sunny disposition. RIP my friend.

Norm was such wonderful man with an excellent attitude! Norm was a really good friend of my mother Dr. Juanita Rentsch Millerick and my step-dad Dr. Joe Millerick. My ex Ricardo Moraga played guitar for several years with the Alleluia Players and in 1981 they were practicing for a CPTV rendition of the nativity scene. Mr. Hanenbaum taught me violin starting in 4th grade. We kept in touch over the years and I will remember him always with great fondness and affection. He was a wonderful teacher and a lovely human being. He will be missed by many but remain in our memories.

Mr Hannenbaum was just the best and kindest person I had to help me through school. I played music from 3rd grade and through high-school. He was funny, caring and just the best. He helped me get through school. I will always remember him with great fondness. I did connect with him several times, when he was at the Airport venue celebrating our soldiers, he came to our school reunions,. He was so special, he lived a meaningful life. My condolences for your loss. I'll always remember him, he...

Imaginative...Innovative....Engaging...words that describe our beloved music teacher. He attended our reunion at the Wethersfield Country Club and had a great time! We will miss his energy and positivity. Deb Intravia Wilson, Class of '66.

A truly inspirational teacher, still fondly remembered after many years.

I have been fortunate to have known Norm for many years and was so saddened to hear of his passing. He was such a special guy, so kind, talented, compassionate, and just a joy to be with. He touched the lives of so many and will be missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. My most sincere and heartfelt sympathy to the entire Hanenbaum family.
