Norman LAIR Obituary
Norman Lincoln Lair, Major USAF Ret. was an outstanding serviceman and a distinguished war veteran. During his more than 25 years in the United States Air Force he accumulated many awards and decorations. After retirement he worked in insurance and real estate sales. Being an avid golfer Norman played golf up until a few months before his passing. Always an optimist his goal was to return to his beloved golf.
Norman Lair, age 90 of Austin is survived by his son, Richard Lair of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Patricia Nelker of Austin; his grandchildren, Kimberly Nelker Plunk, Cameron Lair, Michelle Lair Paterson; and numerous great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on July 18, 2015 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress. Private family burial will follow the service.
