Norman Peck Obituary
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, in St. Ann Episcopal Church in Old Lyme. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Niantic. Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
A full obituary will appear in a future edition of The Day.

I was so happy to have connected with my neighbor after all these years. I came to appreciate him as a kind and gentle spirit with many experiences and a full life. I truly appreciated my visits and regret I did not take the time to get to know him better. He was very kind to me, and I will always remember him well. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great man, and his departure leaves a void.

I remember when we were picking out a paint color for the parlor of the Lee House.After looking at several shades of grey we mixed a couple of them and came up with just the right one, Marvin named it Peck grey because Norm was instrumental in the painting of the room.He may have been president at the time.RIP. I'm sad to hear of Norm's passing, and wish to offer condolences and comfort to the entire Peck family. I thoroughly enjoyed my occasional chats with Norm - his subtle humor, his wisdom freely passed on, his positive outlook, and especially his interest in what others had on their minds. Norm was a giant of a man to me when I was at Mercer Field in 1946. He was even bigger in 1975 at Niantic Bay Yacht Club. Rest in peace Norm. May his memory be eternal.
