Dear Picov Family, We only just heard of Norm's passing and are truly sorry that we were not able to attend the funeral. Our mom and dad were great friends of both Norm and Linda and if my parents were alive I know they would have been so sad to hear of Norm's passing. My sister and I also spent many great times with your parents and will always remember their sincerity and friendship, not only to my parents but to us as well. We wish you our sincerest condolences and share your...

My condolences to the family. I used to work for Starling Pools, met Mr. Picov there many a times, had some very good talks. He was a very humble and caring man. Sad that he´s gone. RIP

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I was with Norm in early public school in Pickering. I am 3 years older than Norm. I remember skating on Picov' s pond. I remember the fire that distroyed the barn. My father was the first resident dentist in the village of pickering 1925 t0 1950 then in Whitby.A blast from the past All the best. Murray

My deepest condolences and sympathy to the Picov family on the passing of Norm. We often disagreed on issues affecting the Town but he was always straightforward and a pleasure to do business with. He made many significant contributions to Ajax not the least of which is the race track and casino at what I will always call " Picov Downs ".

I met Norm and Barry through your Nursery and Koi business . He was a gentleman and a statesman. Safe journey.

Dear Picov Family. My deepest condolences at this time of sorrow. I have very fond memories of working with Norm over many years during my time as Director of Planning and Development in Ajax. He was a person of integrity that was always true to his word. A hand shake on a agreement with Norm was better that any written document. May he rest in peace. He will always be remembered.

Deepest Sympathy to the Picov Family. We have been involved with Quarter Horse racing for almost 40 years back to the days of Picov Downs. Norm's legacy continues in Quarter Horse Racing.
