My sincere sympathy goes out to Ann and the entire Shires' family. Norm had a great big heart and spread his love of the outdoors and of life around to many people. He will be missed greatly. A true gentleman. As children, my brother and sisters always looked forward to our annual spring trip to Pennsylvania. Norm and Ruth always greeted us with open arms. August in Vermont....The corn roast, the camp fire. There are few things etched in my memories that are as clear as Norm's sincere laugh. May his trout always turn upstream.
