Mary Ruth, through you and all of the kind things you have said to me about your "Darling Daddy", I feel as if I knew him! He was a wonderful man and loved you with all his heart.....I'm so sorry for your loss, but SO glad you were by his side "all the way". I know you will take comfort in the fond memories you have of him. My thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time.

I was saddened to hear of your loss. I had the pleasure of meeting Norvell while working at the Summit. What a precious man. He always had a smile upon his face and kind words for all. He fought the good fight and today he suffers no more. May you find the peace and comfort you need thru the Lord, during this most difficult time!

Dear Celia, Mary Ruth and Hope -- I was so sorry to hear about Norvell's passing. I have so many memories of Norvell and your family of fun times in the country and in Lynchburg. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

He fought the great fight and now his true journey has begun. He will be greatly missed by all who were touched by his humor and smile. His wonderful voice is still being heard from heaven above. I was extremely sorry to read about Norvell's death online this morning. My heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to all of you.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you. What a great friend and mentor Norvell was to me. I praise God for him and his dear family. As I listen toward heaven, I can just hear
“How Great Thou Art” being song before the throne.
