I was not acquainted with Ollie, however I have been acquainted with his dad for 45 years and he is a great guy, so I can only assume he took after his father and was a great guy too.

I'm sorry to hear of this very recent death. I was searching the internet for an Ollie French born 1905 in Louisiana who married Margaret Lamprecht and lived in New Iberia. Joseph is also a common name in this line. This line goes back to Edward French born 1595 in England and his son Samuel who lived in Salisbury, NH. This line is known as Chart #4 which you can find on this website under the American Charts: http://www.frenchfamilyassoc.com/FFA/. Bless your family.

I was one of Ollie's 8th grade teachers at St. Philip Neri. My name was Sister Ann Marks. Ollie was a very sweet young man. He was happy and gentle. He always had a smile on his face and was a joy to have in class. I wish I would have known him as an adult. I cry with you at his passing. Rest in the arms of the Lord who first loved you!

December 29, 1960 was the happiest day of my young life. At 19 my first godchild was born on my birthday. He's been a great godchild and I will miss seeing him this December 29, because he never forgot to come over so we could wish each other happy birthday. I will miss him so much!

April 18, 2014

The one thing that you could always tell about Ollie was how much he loved Barbara, Lauren and Kelly. It was visible in the little touches of affection and the jokingly conversations and comments between each other. The love that he has given each of you will forever remain in your hearts.

Love,
Alison and Mark Capone
