Not sure what to say?

I wish I could turn back time to the moments I sat in Opal's kitchen in Kennedale as a distant grand-nephew,
in the days when her happiness lit up the world.
Even now, from the other side of the planet,
I can still remember how precious she and her sister (my grandmother Gladys) both were in this world.
I was merely a child back then,
but her impression on me was,
even to this day fifty-odd years later,
unforgettable.

Opal was a sweet Christian lady ,I loved to visit her ,her memory was so sharp .I am so glad she is with the Lord ,her husband ,her son ,and all her friends ,May God's grace sustain all her family in the days ahead.Sincerely,Esther Griffin

I would have loved to know Mrs Patterson better. Such a beautiful sweet lady. As her family you were all Blessed beyond measure. My Prayers for all of you that Our Lord will soothe the pain in your hearts and give you comfort.

What a wonderful woman! We were so happy to be her adopted grandchildren. Even in so much pain she always had a happy thing to say, an encouraging word and her mind was keen. What a wonderful legacy to leave behind. Thank you for sharing her with us.

Mrs. Opal was such a sweet lady. She always had a smile and was a joy to be around. May the family be comforted in knowing they will see her again in heaven. What a family reunion that will be! We were blessed that we had the pleasure to know her and her family.

I only knew Opal a short time as she was the roommate to my sweet mom at Trail Lake Nursing Home until my moms death in October. Opal and I had many many great talks every day. She loved The Lord so much and it showed. She always had a kind word. I came to love her very much. I know she is happy to be with her loved ones in heaven. Her family was so special to her and the ones I got to meet were so kind. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I will miss Aunt Opal's beautiful smile and her kind heart. I know she's in a better place now, happy to be with Uncle Harold again. I'm so glad I got to see her in March. Love and blessings!

Mrs. Patterson was always a kind and considerate lady and neighbor of many summers ago who was more than able to keep two sons in line.

I will miss Aunt Opal (I am Pat Elder Cearley's daughter). She was so funny and sweet and sassy, all at the same time. I love you, Opal.
