1920-2013
Orey "Buddy" Ward passed away Monday, March 4, 2013 at Sacred Heart Hospital. Mr. Ward was a member and Deacon of Creighton Road Baptist Church, a member of CC's and retired from the Lewis Bear Company in Pensacola.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn; father and mother, Ora and Ernestine; son, David; two brothers, Billy and Leon.
"Buddy" is survived by his wife, Kathryn Childers Ward; three stepsons, Frankie Childers (Debbie) of Milton, Tommie Childers of Jacksonville, FL., and Jamie Childers (Melissa) of Jacksonville, FL.; stepdaughter, Cheryl Franklin of Pensacola; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three very special grandchildren, Katie, Jack and Brandon; two very special close friends, Miranda and Edward.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 10:00am until 11:00am at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South, 100 Beverly Parkway, Pensacola, FL.
Funeral services will be at 11:00am Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South with Reverend Stanley Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Cemetery with Brother Jack Harris officiating.

Ms. Kathryn,
We will miss Dewain so much. Our Huggins-Ward Family Reunions will never be the same. Dewain enjoyed them so much and blessed me immensely every year.

So sorry about your lost but God knows best for His children and Buddy was His child.He love the Lord and he loved you so much.Buddy love the church and everyone .Buddy was a blessing to me and the church.We will miss him and I know he is with our Jesus .God bless you Kathryn and God be with you and God loves you and I do to .Love and prayers Betty beech
