I will always remember OJ. He hired me in 1972 when he was Chief of Parks Division. It was a pleasure working with him through the years as he became my friend and mentor. We designed many interesting Park projects including the first State Park in an urban setting that also included one of the first bike trails. Later we toured the State including the Upper Peninsula reviewing Recreation projects. riding the Snowmobile trails and meeting many interesting government employees, consultants...
