Orville Moody

I knew his son (sparky). Both were good men.

Orville and I were in Special Services together in Korea, 1965. He was a good friend and lots of fun to hang around the golf course with. We all asked him why he hadn't gone pro. Well he did later and in a big way as we all know. I think he was too patriotic to leave the military. I still tell my friends about him and miss him a lot. Larry Lietzau

I evan lived in Kelleen,Texas and saw his house across from the Airport which I flew out of. I was in the Army at Fort Hood and had Golfers call me on the phone and just knew I was Orville. Orville~ I will never forget the 18 hole lessons on the D.I. that beautiful warm Las Vegas day. You were always a class act.

You are missed!

Sincerest condolences to Orville's family. I only knew him briefly while at Capitol Hill High School, but I followed his golfing career with interest.

Please accept my deepest sympathies to Michelle, Kelly,Jason on the loss of your father. He was a great person on the golf course and off, I had alot good times with Sarge and will miss him greatly. May your memories be with you all forever.

UNCLE ORVILLE WAS A BIG PART OF MY LIFE WHEN I WAS GROWING UP, BUT I AM AT PEACE KNOWING THAT HE AND MY DAD (LLOYD) ARE NOW PLAYING GOLF ON THAT COURSE IN HEAVEN (WITH UNCLE DALE TELLING THEM WHAT THEY ARE DOING WRONG). Dale, Louise,& Spanky raised me as part of their family at El Reno Golf Course and I am forever grateful for the Moody family. Got to watch Orville play when he came home on leave. May he rest in peace
