Oscar Juan Whiting

My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. I loved "Mr. Whiting". He has always been my favorite teacher and holds a very special place in my heart. He taught me in the fourth grade at Sage Creek Elementary. I am also grateful for the association and friendship of sons Paul and Brent. What a great family! What a great man! May the Lord's choicest blessings be upon you all at this time.

Dear Alma and Family: We count it a great blessing in our lives to have known Juan. He always glowed with the spirit. He was so loving, thoughtful, happy, positive, and faithful. We know that the Lord was very mindful of him to the end. The hand of the Lord was very evident in his life, down to the details. Please know of our love for you. We wish we could be there to convey it.

Dear Sister Whiting, We are saddened to learn of Juan's passing but know he is happy where he is. Though we were together in Queenstown only a couple of months we remember that time as though we were together for our whole mission. We love you and pray that you will be comforted and able to bear this burden.

Mr. Whiting was indeed my most favorite teacher! He taught me in 5th grade at Westside Elementary School in Springville and I loved him dearly. I'm sorry to read that he has passed away. Please accept my sincerest condolences.
