In memory of Owen. Love and much sadness Ardyth Helmer

Owen Uhrmacher, what a wonderful man. We miss you and love you. Christine and family, I am always here for you. Prayers

Owen was an awesome young man who we miss dearly. We love you

A Snapchat memory of Owen from back in 2016 popped up the other day-he and I were eating lunch together at Union during Midland´s time there for basketball tournament. In the video, I was trying to get Owen to do this really funny sounding joke laugh, and after awhile, he obliged. I laughed hard then, and again when I saw the memory video. I wanted to send it to him and laugh about the good times again! I´ll always remember his upbeat, positive energy and fellow love for all things Kansas...

This is one of the hardest loses to accept. The only positive take away is that Owen lived a life that was filled with joy. He enjoyed simple moments. I got to know Owen a bit during the 2017-18 school year at union college where I was his RA. His integrity showed so bright each time I interacted with him. He was true to himself regardless of where he was or who was around him. I enjoyed the 15-20 min chat with him and Greg after doing check. Never a dull moment when he was around. Although I...

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I was the girls director at Broken Arrow ranch when Owen was a camper. As a camper, he stood out as always wanting to be near the staff and wanting to know what event would happen next etc. He teased me a lot for being short. I will always remember him putting his elbow on my head and looking down at me to make me laugh. It was no surprise to me to hear that he not only worked at Broken Arrow but was also the boys director. Praying for his family, friends, and the Broken Arrow family.

Owen was a wonderful individual who was always willing to be involved and was always helpful in may different ways. Owen was someone that I could count on at Midland while he was there and was very clearly a developing leader in his time at Broken Arrow Ranch. Owen will be missed by many people and I look forward to seeing Owen again when Jesus comes again. Heavenly Father, may Your peace be with Owen's family and his friends in this time of grieving. We look forward to your soon return....
