I remember waiting on him at the post office for so, so many years. I remember my safe deposit box number, because it was his box number. He was always a perfect gentleman and very polite. Except for the cigar. It took more than a few times for him to "get" that I wouldn't wait on him until he put the cigar out. Outside.

So sad to hear of the passing of your Dad. He was certainly one of the most colorful people that I know, and always enjoyed seeing him.

The first vote I ever cast as a new member of the Milford Board of Selectmen many years ago was to make Pat our Town Council. He became one of the youngest Town Councils in the state. He also became one of the best. Throughout his career he reflected excellence in his profession. Throughout his life he reflected love for his family. His pride in his family was clear to anyone who knew him. Barbara and I want to offer our deepest sympathy to Joyce, Skip and the DeCapuas. ...
