Dr. Denning was my academic advisor in my undergrad program. She believed in me, especially when I didn't. She worked with me when I obsessed about little things and never made me feel like a burden or that I was doing something wrong. She was more than just an academic advisor, but a life advisor too. I worked with and shared an office with Pam at Shaw University in the early 2000s. She was a wonderful person to be with - a joyful, funny, hardworking and intelligent friend. We shared many laughs and successes together. She was a great leader and comrade. She made a differnece for our students and the program we worked for.
