I was so stricken hearing the news from the Chicago Botanic Garden of the loss of Pam and extend my sympathy to her family, especially to Erle. I worked for years with Pam at the Garden and enjoyed her knowledge, fabulous sense of humor and terrific laugh. She spoke constantly about her family members and her struggles with situations became our struggles, as we were another "family" of hers.
