Dear Mrs. Francescone and family,
I was sad to learn of Mr. Francescone's death. My family, the Goodmans, lived next door to you on Aldrich Avenue in Binghamton many years ago. Mom died in March 1993, and Dad died in December 2010. My family and I always had great respect for Mr. Francescone.
Yours,

To the Francescone family,
My condolences on the passing of the Chief. I worked under him for the first 12 years of my career and always found him to be a fair but firm leader. I will never forget his laugh!

My condolences to your family,I first met Mr Francescone when he was a Sgt during the construction of the current YMCA on Susquehanna St.He was working security at the site during off hours. He always took the time to speak with the children in the old neighborhood and would watch us play ball.Great memories for a kid in a rough side of town.
