Pat Ryan

Pat Ryan was a great coach. Much like a dad to us.

Coach Ryan had many gifts. As an an athlete he brought me from the High School level to College. He explained things simply and made us all better. His attention to detail, and hand written record keeping had to be seen. Now that I am a coach myself I appreciate how he coached so many different athletes at different stages of life and treated them all as collegiate. Pat Ryan will always be known as "coach" and a gentleman to the hundreds of young men and women who had the good fortune to grow both as an athlete and individual. His low-key demeanor was addictive to all the young men and women that he coached and to the colleagues throughout the campus and community. RIP my friend
