Patricia Bunkelman Obituary

March 14, 1958 - Jan. 15, 2015 Our dearly loved Patti lost her nearly two year war with cancer on January 11, 2015. Her illness started in her pancreas, then invaded her liver. Love was clearly shown for her through the care given her by husband Jack, and several other family members. We want to give a huge "Thank you" to Patti's cousin Lisa, aka "Sam" and husband Bob Hoover. We are very grateful to them for the many ways in which they showed love and compassion for both Patti and Jack. Patti's growing-up years included our annual fall hunting trips, fun times at the cabin on Camano Island, Wash. especially the big family 4th of July get-to-gather. During her pre-teen years she and sister, Diane took accordion lessons. They played in the accordion band and garnered several first-place trophies in competition. In 1971 the family moved from the Paine Field area to Marysville, Wash. After graduation, Patti and Dana Lambert married and two children, Joshua and Corina were born. Several years later the marriage dissolved. Patti was soon employed as a parts delivery person for Napa Auto Parts, and later delivered parts for O'Reilly's in Marysville. In 2005 Patti and Jack Bunkelman married. Having been brought up in a hunting and fishing family, Patti had no problem following Jack's tradition of getting gear ready for "the hunt". Wes and I were blessed to have them, along with other extended family members in the camp during hunting season. Patti leaves behind husband, Jack; son, Joshua Lambert; daughter, Corina Hunter (Corey); sister, Diane Murdock (Tim; and mom, Norma Greig. Patti was preceded in death by her "daddy", Wesley Greig, in August 2014. Also surviving are grandchildren, Anastasia Lambert, Luke Hunter, and stepson, Tony Bunkelman; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. viewing, with 1 p.m. graveside service will take place at Floral Hills on January 27, 2015. Address is 409 Filbert Rd, Lynnwood, WA 98036. Family and friends are welcome to enjoy lunch and fellowship at the Greig family home.

Patricia, or Pat was a real true friend. She loved her grandchildren. She was always ready to go fishing or hunting at any time and loved the outdoors. She will be missed by many at the Auto Part stores for her hard work of doing resets, and delivering parts to customers. May the family find peace and comfort at this time. And may she rest now with the angels in the comfort of God's hands.
