Dear Karen, Paul and family, I am overcome by this beautiful obituary- so much about the amazing Pat that I didn't know. What a marvel- there are tears rolling down my cheeks. Words cannot express the joy and deep good fortune I feel to have been neighbors with all of you - and be in the stupendous light that was and will always remain in our hearts and lives - your Mom, Grandma, and Mother-in-law. So very sorry to hear of your mother's death. I am Betsy Conovitz and my mother was Anne Kleeman Sites. I read her obituary in the NYT. Although I did not know Pat, I do remember visiting her one time when my mother came to see me in NY when I was living there. It's a shame that our family is so unconnected. All my condolences as your mother must have been quite a force and I regret not knowing her.

Paul, Karen, your Mom was a great lady. Always fun to be around. We have one of her avocado paintings in our foyer in Montclair. Our best to you all.
