Not sure what to say?

On behalf of the American Theatre Critics Association, of which Pat Hook was a member, good friend and benefactor, I'd like to express widespread sadness at her passing. Through the Evan Shipley Hook fund she inaugurated, she has helped with the education and development of young critics. But more important, she was a sunny, supportive presence at ATCA gatherings. I enjoyed her theater reviews and her warm smile when I saw her at one of my shows. I appreciate all her hard work to be fair to the vivid theater community.-

I always enjoyed reading Pat's reviews in the Capital and she was always so warm and friendly when she came to see one of my shows or when I bumped into her when I was out and about. She will be missed.

Annapolis theater-goers and readers of the Capital newspaper will remember Pat Hook for her many reviews of local performances. She was also a long-time member of the American Theatre Critics Association.
