I miss you more that words can say...and love you even more than that!

Patricia Lucas, known as "Pat" was an older sister to two of my longest and dearest friends Garfield and Julie (Jones) who I met in 1968 at the recently demolished Randall Jr High School in Washington DC. Pat was like one of my big sisters who was always welcoming as if she went to school with us, and knew all the precious, unforgettable stories. Her infectious smile always warmed my heart, and reminded me of Mother Jones who also lived life to the fullest. RIP Pat. Thanks for sharing your...

I love you to the moon and back...

Family, time will ease your heart because Pat is in there and will never leave as long as you live. As neighbors, we are grateful for the many seasons of our lives that included one of God's earth angels. Pat was our friend, neighbor, supporter and comforter in our time of need. We will not forget her goodness and and willingness to help whenever it was needed.

Patricia and I met in the kindergarten at Giddings Elementary School, located 4th &G Streets SE. I can remember going into her home at the corner of 5th & G having lunch that her mom Mrs. Jones prepared. Then we went Randall Jr High together being in 7th grade section 7-4, 8-4 and 9-2.
