Rochester Hills - Patricia Ann Petz-Jeffries, 66, of Rochester Hills, passed away May 4, 2018. Cherished daughter of the late Helen Petz and late Anthony Petz, beloved wife of Michael Lloyd Jeffries, loving mother to Katherine and Melissa, dear sister of Helen Wright and Frederick Petz, proud aunt of Elaine Jeffries, Janet Leidal, the late Alex Jeffries, and Alexandra Petz, treasured sister-in-law of Richard and Sandra Jeffries, Gerald Wright, and Mary Petz. Born in Detroit, Michigan on January 11, 1952, Patricia graduated from Dominican High School and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS degree in Psychology and Biology from Xavier University and Summa Cum Laude at University of Detroit-Mercy where she earned her BSN. She was married to Michael Lloyd Jeffries on September 15, 1973. As a nurse, Patricia was a familiar face in the corridors of Royal Oak Beaumont, Troy Beaumont, and St. John's, and served as a parish nurse and volunteer with many organizations. Beyond her dedication to caring for others, she could be recognized by her love of "dressing to the nines," her affinity for BBC series, and her commitment to making the perfect cup of tea. Services will be held on May 23, 2018 at 4 p.m. at Academy of the Sacred Heart in Bloomfield Hills. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. I went to Dominican High with Patty. I remember her as very friendly to everyone, with a frequent big happy smile, and a beautiful distinctive voice. The fact that we all knew her as Patty speaks to her friendliness and warmth. I haven't seen her in many years, but I remember these special things about Patty. May God bless her and your family.
