Pat was a familiar Eucharistic Minister at St. Philip Neri. She always had a joyous spirit despite her illness. She greatly loved her children and grandchildren. I will remember her family as this difficult anniversary approaches. Christmas is a difficult time to lose a loved one, but Pat is certainly close to the infant Jesus and understood the mystery of the incarnation by her life.

My condolences and prayers to Pat's family. Pat always had a smile and welcome for everyone. She gave some profound advice to me when we were both 13 and walking home from school one day. She talked to me about how she approached tasks that presented difficult challenges to her - her trick was to find something about the task that would allow her to learn something or she would find a way to "enjoy" the task so she no longer viewed it as "difficult" and she would plunge in with a 100% positive attitude to work through it! I have referred to that chat between two young girls years ago many times during my life. Pat's words helped me work through many challenges! She was such a supportive person. Her last words to me right before Christmas were that faith and time help us all to work through what we need to deal with in life. May God bless her! She was a special person.

Pat was always smiling and warm. Always concerned about the needs of others. She was always there to comfort and pray for those suffering any kind of hardship. The St. Philip family will miss her dearly. Her children are richly blessed to have her as an example of Christian love. I know she will be showering graces from heaven.

A truly fine person, Pat extended her hand in friendship to persons vastly different from herself, without compromising her beliefs. She was the spirit of our Chapelle class, working tirelessly to maintain our connections. Pat, you will always be missed but never forgotten. Jan E Davis
