Patricia West Steele

Patricia West Steele, 81, of Charlottesville, Virginia, passed away on April 10, 2021. Patricia was born on November 6, 1939, in Crozet, Virginia, to the late Ernest and Virginia Mooney. She was a dedicated secretary at UVA to the late Dr. Theodore Keats. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dug Steele, and grandson, Joshua Hill.

Patricia was survived by her brother, Jack "Boo" Mooney and his wife, Karen; two daughters, Jennifer West and Teresa Porter; three grandchildren, John Winter, Amiah Porter, and Jailyn Porter; two nieces, Deborah and Tanya; and two nephews, Chris and Kevin. She was the rock of our family and greatly loved by all who knew her.

A chapel service will be held at Teague funeral Service at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2021, followed by a graveside service at Monticello Memory Gardens.
