I had Mrs. Witham for second grade at St. Joseph Central school. She was a very young teacher at the time as I am now 70 years old! I remember Mrs. Witham as a very caring and loving teacher! I recall a time when Mrs. Witham had playground duty and I fell and skinned my knees. I was crying because I thought the injuries I had were the end of the world!!
