Patrick CALLAN

My Mom worked as a volunteer secretary for the confraternity aspect at St. Brigid's. I went with her on Saturdays as a kid just to tag along. Fr. Callan was the spiritual head of the program at a time when the halls were teaming with unruly kids such as I was to become. It was probably in the first ten years of his ministry and I can recall his somewhat tense demeanor. Yet he conducted a fine program with a needed discipline that I am sure he would rather have not been responsible for. Father...
