Dr. Carroll (Pat) was my very loved friend and professional partner for almost 30 years. He was as fine a human being as I have ever known. Pat was a superb clinician and a keen observer of both the strengths and foibles of his fellow man. He was my associate and my teacher both in things medical and in the lessons of life. Dr Carroll has been a treasured colleague and friend for almost forty years. His contributions to the Northern Virginia community have been enormous, to which his countless grateful patients could attest.
