I feel funny calling him Pat after knowing him as Mr. Cosgrove at Pittston Area High School. Heartfelt sympathy to the family. In high school Pat and I were partners on the school debate team. We sent countless hours in the school library and science lab discussing political issues and planning debate strategies from nuclear arms to universal healthcare. When I was in St John's Elementary School, I joined the marching band in 2nd grade. Patrick was four years older than me but he was always a presence.
