Deeply saddened to hear about the passing esteemed working partner Pat. His presence and contributions will be greatly missed.

My sincerest condolences to the Fields´ family. Pat was a friend from high school and our parents were friends and colleagues. Pat was so intelligent and such a good person and role model. The entire community celebrated his acceptance into Harvard. We have a family member who is battling brain cancer right now and I truly understand your pain and suffering. I was so sorry to hear of Pat's death. Please accept my most sincere sympathies for his family during this difficult time. I have the privilege of knowing Pat since 2005. Pat was a remarkable man and a highly respected professional in banking industry. His humility, professionalism, and hard work are very impressive to everyone around him. He will be greatly missed and everyone I knew is saddened by his death.

Pat and I lived on the same floor in the dormitory at UCLA. One Sunday at Mass at the Newman Center I recognized Pat from Hedrick Hall. We walked back to Hedrick together and had some breakfast. That was the beginning of a friendship that lasted well over 40 years.
