Dear Pat's Siblings and Children, my deepest condolences. Pat was a good friend and fellow of the Thomas International Center. I met him more than 10 years ago during a Catholic philosophical conference. He shared with me a deep love for Saint Thomas Aquinas, as well as the urge to promote Thomistic Studies. We have been in touch every year since then, and he even came to my home city in Italy (Palermo) to visit me and work on the development of the Thomas International Center. He was a good and generous supporter of this project. You should be proud of him also for this commitment, which is a service to our faith. I am going to miss him, but I know that he will do more for all of us from heaven now.

I was so sad to hear of Pat's passing. I wish I could have known him better. He seemed a gentle, spiritual and sincere man. I saw my father's likeness in him, which was very touching. My heart goes out to his children, grandchildren, brothers, sister and all their families and loved ones. I am praying for you all. Love, Cousin Kathy Donnelly Florentz

For several years, the golf group in which I played at the Palos Verdes Golf Club had breakfast on Saturday mornings before teeing off. Patrick would regularly have breakfast at that same time. Around those tables, we developed a friendship talking politics, about which his knowledge was remarkable. He was extraordinarily well read and an engaging conversationalist. I took a real liking to him and will miss him and our exchanges. Godspeed to you, Patrick, your family and your Irish.

We are saddened to hear about Pat's passing. The Harts were two of the first people we met when we first moved to Palos Verdes Estates. In later years, we enjoyed seeing him at the golf club. Our sympathy to his family.

Sincerest condolences for your loss. May precious memories of your dear loved one, along with words of encouragement, such as those found at Psalm 20:1,2, be of comfort to your family in this difficult time.

Patrick will be sorely missed by those of us who knew and loved him. He was a bright, wry witted Irishman who was proud of his Notre Dame "roots". We will miss those sky blue Irish eyes!

God bless you Patrick!
