I was fortunate to have Pat Lovaglia as my teacher for freshman algebra at Castro Valley High School. Even though math was not my favorite subject, I found that under his tutelage, I actually enjoyed it and learned a lot! He made learning so enjoyable and treated us with respect. The best part is that I found I wanted to do well not just for me but so that he would know he was doing his job well!
