I was fortunate enough to work with Pat at MMWD. He holds a place in my memory as one of the finest persons I've ever met, and his loss has been indescribably shocking. He loved Life. Having retired up here in 2003, I had no idea that Pat was ill. Pat and I were great friends in Junior High and High School and for a bit after that until we went in different directions. I was born just a few hours after Pat was and our grandmothers were friends at the time and were comparing notes on their soon to be born grandchildren. It wasn't till years later that Pat and I found this out by chance. So many good memories with Pat and the Orsini family (stomping grapes for wine in the backyard with our bare feet) and High School....band, ski trips...
