Not sure what to say?

I am so sad to hear about the loss of my dear friend. We would see each other during most holidays and birthdays but last year was not a normal year.
As today is his birthday, ive been trying to reach out but discovering this news and sending my utmost condolences to his family.
I met pat (palmy aka palmtree) when I was 19 years old in Wilmington. We have been good friends ever since. Through the years, the upper bleachers at rolling stones concerts, several feet away from the who...

I live in another state now and have not been in touch with Pat in over a year. I just found out today and feel so shocked and saddened. He was such an amazing friend. As a big rock n roll music fan myself I was always impressed by his encyclopedic knowledge of music from the 60's-70's. I have so many good memories of him playing guitar and making up songs off the top of his head--many of them about me and my friends and always intentionally hilarious as hell. The last time I saw him he...

Life will never be the same without Patrick. He was a considerate and kind and helpful son. I learned a lot about music and history from him.

We often watched Jeopardy together and I was amazed at the breadth of the categories of questions he knew regularly answering before the contestants or me. I’ll miss these times together.

Rest In Peace my sweet Patrick. I’ll see you on the other side.

Love, Mom

I am extremely saddened about the death of my good friend, Patrick Palmer. We became fast friends in our early teens, and had many great times hanging out over the years. I always enjoyed his company, discussing history, music, and a wide range of worldly topics. He was very smart and quite the musicologist!

Although we drifted apart, not seeing each other in several years, I thought of him often and it always made me smile. Patrick was truly a kind soul and I will miss him very...

I had not seen Pat for many years but remember him well. I spent many interesting evenings with him discussing music and current events. He was a smart and thoughtful person. Peace be with his friends and family

My family and I are heartbroken! Patrick was a sweet compassionate person. His cousins CeCe, Kelly, and Leslie and I will remember the times we shared with Patrick. My husband Hal and I enjoyed our cookouts with him when we were in Raleigh! So we won’t say goodbye but will see you again one day !
