Not sure what to say?

I'm at the lake looking at the hammock and missing Uncle Pat. What a sweet and kind person he was and will always be. I miss his talks and his chilli. I can't believe it's been a year already.

Dear Adrienne,
I'm so sorry to hear of you and your family's loss. Pat was a wonderful person. As I wrote in my e-mail, it's funny how you can meet someone and be around them for such a short period of time, but they can leave such a lasting impression upon you. Thank you for the friendship!!

Dear Tyler,
I was so sorry to hear about your father. I know how close you were to him. During the brief time that I have known you both, I could tell he was a wonderful father to you. As a teacher, I saw a father who loved to be involved in his childrens' education. As a parent, I could see that he was very proud of you.
I know how much you miss him and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

When I think of Pat Peters, I start smiling. There's no one memory that does it- the piles of books after a week-long vacation, the way that he placed cheese just so on a cracker, him showing off Miami's A-list mansions from his motor boat against the turquoise ocean, the strong margaritas he would sneakily offer me sips of as a little girl, the pride in his voice when he spoke of his amazing children, him rattling off the latest world news with an intelligent or biting opinion, the way that...

Adrienne..I was saddened to learn of the sudden death of your husband. Knowing you, I'm sure you brought much joy to his life. My sympathies are with you and your children.

Your service for Pat yesterday was beautiful and a very fitting tribute. It certainly reflected his personality, energy, love of people, life, and of course, his commitment to his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Adrienne, Whitney and Tyler.
Take care,

Adrienne, Whitney, Tyler
I'm so sorry to hear of your lost. I have not known you all for that long but you made my move to irvington a very welcoming experience. I will Miss seeing Pat at the gym. he was a wonderful person to know as you all are also.
god bless

Tyler, I always admired the special relationship you and your father shared. In the days and years to come, you will be able to draw strength and comfort from those great times and conversations the two of you shared. Those memories will never die. Continue to strive for your goals and be at peace with who you are.

Dear Adrienne,
when I was informed about your family loss after I got back from a trip, I was deeply saddened and I still am.
I would like to express my deepest condolences to you and your children, also on behalf of my boyfriend Steve who had recently met Pat and had the opportunity to enjoy his company.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
