Patrick was a gifted and talented writer. He also had great wit and passion for the work he did. I enjoyed our witty comments at the State Capitol. You left us too soon but we are better for your presence in our lives..Slainte

To Pat's family: How I enjoyed a friendship with Pat that grew from opposite sides of the political aisle in Hartford, took root through good-natured sparring on politics and baseball, and was cemented through respect for his craftsmanship and passionate loyalty. I will miss this man greatly, mourn his loss, and will continue our conversations in my prayers. God bless Pat Scully and all who he loved.
