Not sure what to say?

I cannot believe how long you have been gone. Seems like yesterday, your beautiful smile shined brighter than the morning sun. Your love for all of us was so pure. Your strength still amazes me. Grams thank you for the life lessons and the real love you gave me. You are missed every day!

This is obviously very late, but just now, in May of 2015, I found out that Patsy Ann had passed away several years ago. I know her at Parkview, and though she was a bit older thanI, we became friends, one I've often thought about tho I have live away from Indiana most of my life. Rest in peace, dear friend.

Where do I start. I dontknow how I can express in afew words the influence that you had on me growing up. You had a way of making everyone feel at home with your lightheartedness and humor. In a family as large as ours you have many strong personalities and opinions this can cause tension at times even between the closest of family. No one was better at cutting through all that BS than Pat. You could be at a table with her and in less than a minute you were laughing and you were at ease, no...

Aunt Pat, I remember all the hours of phone conversations we'd have and all the stories and laughter (your laugh was so infectious - I can hear it now and it's making me chuckle) we shared. You were so patient when I called to ask for a recipe or how to make a nutroll (my nutrolls aren't even close to how good yours were!) You were an amazing cook, wife, mom, sister, aunt - there's just not a word good enough to describe how fabulous I think you are. I also remember all the times at your...

My dear cousin. We grew up together and got in trouble in school. Think of you often with love.

I'll always remember you at the table.
Such a beautiful, sharp-witted wise woman, speaking your mind.
So strong, so totally cool.
Your sparkling eyes,
Your legendary laugh.
Our Aunt Pat.

Dear Aunt Pat,
It's been so many years but I can never forget you and how full of light and joy the world seemed when you came around. Thank you for being in my life.

Dearest Aunt Pat,
The photo chosen to honor you here is just the way I will always remember you. You were the coolest, funniest, most irreverent presence at any gathering, and so, so beautiful...I mean just look at you. Thank you for lightening and being a light in my life as I'm sure you were for everyone who had the joy of knowing you.

To find the words to tell the world what a special woman God has taken home is impossible. I will say that I have been very lucky to have some of the strongest, most beautiful, proud and classy women in my life such as grams. Hope to make you and the others proud in my life. Love you, now tell gramps dimples are still empty but my heart is full of love for you all.
