Patsy was born in Dew, Texas on September 4, 1934, to Sidney and Blanche Atchley. She died at the age of 83 at her home in Corpus Christi, Texas. Patsy loved the Lord and spent her life doing what she could to help others by saying a kind word, sending cards, making a meal, or an angel food cake. She always told everyone to have a "God bless day" and would let them know that she was praying for them. Patsy taught the women's Sunday school class at Lexington Baptist Church and Trinity Baptist for forty-five years. She loved her "Ladies". Patsy and her husband, Carl, loved to travel around the United States. They made many trips to the farm in Dew, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-one years, Carl H. Obert, Jr.; brother: Eddie Lee Atchley; Parents: Sidney and Blanche Atchley; Niece: Wendy Atchley Taylor. Patsy is survived by her daughter, Carol Obert of Corpus Christi, Texas who lovingly cared for her mother for many years. She is also survived by one brother, Mick Atchley and wife, Joann, and sister-in-law Nora Atchley from Teague, Texas. Other survivors are nieces, nephews and cousins who loved "Aunt Patsy". Visitation will be Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 19, 2018 in Dew Cemetery, Dew, Texas.

My MIL, Ruth Tullos, always spoke of Patsy and how loving and caring she was. I am so sorry to hear of your loss.
We also would like to thank you for the gift you recently left for Ruth. We delivered it and she was happy to receive it. Thank you for thinking of her, just as your mother always did.
