He was a great man and an awesome Doctor! He was my Dr for almost 20 years, a neighbor for almost 9 years. He will be deeply missed ! My condolences to his family.

This is so very heartbreaking. I too, was one of Dr Auerbach's many patients who's diagnosis saved my life, and for that I am forever grateful. If you talk to any colleague who had the privilege of working with him, they would immediately tell you he was the best of the best. He was always there and available with his kind and reassuring manor. it is not often in this day and age that you feel your doctor really "takes care of you" Dr Auerbach took care of his patients. I will always miss you!!! This is so tough to deal with. We worked together every day, all day for years. I spent more time with you than I did my family and friends. We were constantly talking, sharing stories and joking. I truly valued your friendship and admired you as a mentor. Losing you is devastating to the core. You will always be my Pablo!
