Paul Bernabei

Very sorry to hear of Paul´s passing. He was my childhood hero! I grew up just 4 houses away from him in a very small town in Illinois. Paul was 6 years older than me. My friends and I all admired him and wanted to be just like him. He would take time out and teach and coach us in baseball and basketball. He was never too busy to stop and play ball with us for a few minutes, leave us with words of encouragement and just make our day. What a great person he was! Rest in Peace Hero...

My heartfelt condolences to Paul's big and beautiful family. And to his many friends and to all of the people that he touched in his remarkable life. He was my teacher at St. Bede Academy and had a profound influence on me and on the direction of my life. I am forever grateful for his wisdom, his compassion, and his infectious energy. What a good, good person.
