Not sure what to say?

I have just learned of Paul's passing almost a year later from an email planning our 40th high school reunion. I am so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. He was such a gentle soul, and I remember him and Katie well from Trinity time together. My sympathy to the family.

Sometimes when you search for old friends online you sadly find out they're gone. Paul and I were Star Trek buddies back in the late 60s. I felt he was my best friend for a while until we moved to Jacksonville, my life got more complicated, and we lost touch. I saw him again in 1972 in Tallahassee, and then again sometime in the 90s in Orlando.
I can remember going to the movies in Leesburg (35cents), swimming in the middle of the night, and his cat Napoleon. Very fond memories. He was...

If we are very fortunate, at some time in our lives we will meet a person like Paul. And if we are truly blessed we will be able to call that person our friend. I knew Paul for over twelve years and I cherish our time together. He was a true gentleman and a kind soul. His wry sense of humor and keen observations were never cruel or demeaning and in all the years I knew him I never heard him utter even the mildest profanity. He made me laugh and think and often prompted me to reconsider my...

Tom and family,
I am deeply saddened to hear that Paul passed away. I am sorry that I did not know sooner. I received your invitation and will be there. If there is anything I can do to help, please give me a call.

Paul provided technical support for Cathy and me for many years at SunTrust. He was a patient teacher who solved big and small problems for us. I loved his crisp intelligence, sharp wit and calm, kind manner. Paul was a fine person who will remain one of my special memories of SunTrust. God Bless you, Paul.

Paul worked very closely with our group here at SunTrust. He will be missed. We send our thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

Paul, I have know you for many years. You were my mentor and a great friend. You always had my back when I needed support, and I hope I returned the favor. I’ll miss your great sense of humor, and sharing our travel stories from abroad.

My deepest sympathies go out to Paul’s loved ones. He is greatly missed!

Paul was such a terrific person. He was so caring and giving and had such a great sense of humor! In my brief stint with CTS at SunTrust, he was such a great mentor to me. He will be greatly missed by so many whose lives he touched! My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I have known Paul since about 1995. He was a pleasure to work with, and a fine individual... one of the best. He will be sorely missed.
