Not sure what to say?

This company and its founders were the stabilizing passion of my life. Contributing unimagined joy and creativity, and a desire to be & give more were key. I will always remember these days with incredible fondness Colleen Mason

Mr. Curtis and Shawn were inspirations to me and I have lived my life for art ever since I knew them. I was in West Valley Ballet and then San Jose Dance Theater in the 70's under their direction. And truly...Mr. C's arch was the best in the biz! I think of them both every day. Sweet Shawn...my dearest condolences. Therese Brewer Frankenberg, Chico, CA.

Mr. Stuart, I am so sorry for your loss. You and Mr. Curtis, as well as your gift to me - the love of dance - will remain in my heart forever.

Shawn, I am very sad for your loss. I know that many people will feel that the world is little less bright now that Paul has moved on. I'm very grateful to have known (and danced!) with him. Perhaps Paul and my mother are now reminiscing about old times--she loved working as company manager with both of you. My thoughts are with you and I wish you peace of heart and mind.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Paul Curtis. I had the pleasure of performing in the San Jose Dance Theatre Nutcracker back in 1981 and enjoyed rehearsing and will always keep fond memories of those days.

Mr. Stuart, Im so sorry for your Loss.I grew up in your studio with you and Paul being 2 of my favorite people. I adored both of you. I am forever changed by my classes with you. I was Clara in 1983 (Shevonne Durkin )I truly Love both of you and am so sad to hear of his passing. Love Shevonne Durkin Beaird

We spent many memorable years in the studio in Los Gatos watching our daughter Sharon dance. Paul's passing is a great loss to the comunity. Shawn, we join you in grieving him.

My mother enrolled me in Paul Curtis Academy of Dance in 1975, the summer before my freshman year of highschool. I have vivid memories of the level of dance I was now studying, and having studied ballet since the age of 4, I felt like this was big time. Ballet is still a huge part of who I am and what I do, and now I'm passing the baton to my little girl, Heidi, who shows promise at the age of 7! Thank you to the both of you - for your teaching, your tolerance, your passion. My memories...

Mr Stewart, I am so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you during this difficult time. I will always treasure my years with San Jose Dance Theater and thank you and Mr Curtis for all your wonderful lessons both in dance and in life. My mom, Julie Reynolds, and I will never forget all you gave to us. Love, Jenny Reynolds Rutherford
