Not sure what to say?

In loving memory of Father Paul Edward Komarc, the inaugural shepherd of St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church. As another anniversary of your departure arrives, the echoes of your teachings, the resonance of your homilies - which I still revisit frequently - and the fervor with which you embraced our community remain ever vibrant. Your absence is keenly felt, a void in our hearts that yearns for your wisdom and warmth. Alongside your dear friend, Father Andrzej Pietraszko, your combined...

Another anniversary of your passing and the words and seeds you left with us to make your parish grow and become fruitful. Thanks for the example and thanks for your guidance. You are present in our lives.

I really miss our talks, your teachings, and your guidance. Our cell group meeting on Saturday mornings. I am glad you were the vehicle God used to bring me back to church. I am so sorry for not living up to your expectations. You are loved and deeply missed. You and Fr. Andrzej are still very important in my life.

I find it hard to express our feelings for Father Paul. He and Tony became aquainted in the early 1980s when Father was at St. Michael's in Miami. They became fast friends and stayed in contact over the years. Father Paul has been involved in all of the important things in our lives. He was a mentor for us before we got married, he prayed for us when we were trying to have children and prayed over my belly when we thought I might be losing one of them (I didn't, thank God). He blessed...

I was devastated to hear of Father Paul's illness and death. He was a great priest, a great man, an inspiration. His sermons were down-to-earth and riviting. He was, without a doubt, one of the best and most inspiring Pastors I've ever met. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. He will be very sorely missed. I am sure he is with his Father and at peace now.

i was extremely saddened to hear of father paul's illness and passing. after my husband john past away 3 years ago i moved from miami after living there for 35 years to merritt island closer to my son and daughter in law. father paul touched my heart in so many beautiful ways. since we were both of slavic heritage and byzantine catholic we shared our love of icon art. he inspired me to build him his own private chapel for his home since at the time his words to me were " shirley, i may never...

Father Paul was a wonderful person. We consider ourselves fortunate to have gotten to know Father Paul on his visits to our synagogue ( Dor Dorim), in Weston, FL., and we will certainly miss him.

i was extremely saddened to learn of Fr. Pauls death on saturday morning. I am proud to be able to call him my friend. he was always there for my family and in fact re-married my parents. i met father PAUL while a student at columbus highschool and since then our friendship took off. i am a religion teacher at columbus today because of him. he was a man of strength, faith, appetite and generosity. He did so much for me and my family and as he did for so many other people and families. Clearly...

May the Lord bless Fr. Edwards with all the joys of heaven and may the comfort we receive in our faith offer his family relief.
