Not sure what to say?

Miss you every day Paul

Paul was my landlord after I graduated from College. I ended up living right across the hall from him in his mansion. I collected antique radios and he and I would talk about the old days of radio and film. He took me to his place on the west side where he had a movie theater inside a house and we watched some Laurel and Hardy if I recall. When GE started to close shop he made me promise to come back by sometime. I did once.. but that was way back in the 80s, and I bounced around the...

We were so shocked & saddened to read this. We knew it was coming but we never wanted it to happen. Our hearts our hurting so much. He made my son feel so special. Often I felt he looked at Brandon as the son he never had. Thank you for sharing your uncle with us. He was a man who will NEVER be replaced in our hearts....Love from Brandon & Alesha Look and Dale Karlik

Paul will be sadly missed by our family. He spent many a Holiday with us and we enjoyed his company at many Birthday dinners. We were looking forward to celebrating his 100 Birthday on June 9, but he passed away just 2 months from making it. We also had coffee together nearly every morning for many many years at several resturants along Grant Ave and then at Pavlos in later years. May God be with you Paul, we'll miss you. Rest in peace.

I never knew Paul, but I am grateful to him for his love of the movies.

My family has known Paul forever as he was a childhood friend of our father, they grew up together on Park Place. Loved visiting with him at FLLC when I would be visiting my mother. He always loved telling stories and was so friendly to all adding a smile to everyones face! May he rest in peace.

To the bereaved family so sorry about Paul.He was a wonderful man and he will be greatly missed. May God Bless you all.

Auburn just lost a "great man" who brought many great memories to so many people.....his life and what he brought to Auburn should be celebrated and remembered.....like a memorial or an arts festival in his honor....RIP Paul.....it was an honor knowing and working for you!!!!

Paul was a theatre legend here in Auburn and I am proud to have known him. A friend and I recently visited Paul at his nursing home and enjoyed some quality time talking with him about Auburn theater history and looking over my photo collection of historic Auburn theatres. Paul still had a great memory and lots of wonderful first hand history to share. We left Paul with a photo of his beloved Palace Theatre that I printed for him and he was very pleased. Mr. Field was a great man who lived a...
